Hello. I'm Dr. Sylvia Arian. I've been practicing psychology in California for 30 years, counseling families, couples and individuals. My role is to guide people toward solving personal or family problems in order to reach their highest potential. My emphasis is working with people who are in a state of transition. Whether they've been traumatized or have just gotten off track, I help them gain a new outlook on life and the many possibilities it has to offer.

I specialize in two particular groups:

Women in transition who feel the need for change or growth in their life and don’t know how to go about it.

Iraq War military personnel and their families for whom the war may be over but the memory lives on. My services are free of charge through The Soldiers Project.
